History: Also known as Nameks are the inhabitants of planet Namek. They're broken into three groups the Dragon Clan, Warrior-type, and the Demon Clan.
The Dragon Clan is the Namekian support caste. These Namekians have abilities that pertain to magic. The greatest unique trait of the Dragon Clan is their ability to create objects and if they reach genius-class they can even create Dragon Balls.

The Warrior-type are the combat caste. These are Nameks who are proficient in combat and their power levels are usually around the 3,000 range. Warrior-type Nameks are unable to use some of the magician-like abilities of the Dragon Clan.
The Demon Clan are Evil or Dark Namekians with mutated forms caused by their corruption that vary drastically. These Nameks have poor Ki Manipulation.


Appearance: They are humanoid with plant and slug-like characteristics, including green skin, antennae (that are somewhat sensitive like the tails of the Saiyans) and pink patches appearing throughout their bodies. Elderly Nameks have darker green skin and less prominent pink patches. Nameks also have pointy ears and red rings in which they have three red conjoined rings on their ankles and wrists, making them look like they have ankle bands and wristbands. Most Namekians appear to be roughly the size of normal Humans but can reach heights and size beyond normal Earthlings.
Unique Characteristics:
--They require only water for sustenance as their bodies have enzymes that allow them to transform water into nutrients. However, Namekians can still eat solid foods for sustenance and/or pleasure.
--Namekian sense of hearing is far greater than that of Earthlings. Very high-pitched sounds like whistling can be irritating to Namekians, to the point of causing them pain. Removing the ears beforehand can lessen the effects.
--Namekians have thick skin capable of shielding them from extreme drops in temperature.
--A Namekian's body and limbs are extremely flexible. They can elongate their arms and legs at will.
--The Namekians have enhanced lifespans allowing them to live for hundreds of years
